Bronze Mica (Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides)

A naturally occurring mineral pigment that gives your balm its warm, light-reflective glow. Mica is a silicate mineral sourced from the earth and coated with purified, naturally derived Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxides to create its bronze tone. This process uses only mineral materials - no plastics, no synthetic glitters, and no microbeads - resulting in a soft, luminous shimmer that is entirely natural-origin.

For customers who want to understand exactly how mineral pigments work on the skin, including the safety profile of Titanium Dioxide, you can read our science page here.

Natural Isn’t Enough. It Has to Be Made Properly

Many “natural” balms are made by overheating oils in a single pot - a shortcut that damages delicate plant compounds. When oils are pushed beyond their tolerance, they oxidise. Oxidised oils can irritate the skin, disrupt the barrier, and lose their nourishing benefits.

Botanik by Jorji is formulated with scientific precision.

  • Every ingredient is heated in the correct phase

  • Heat-sensitive oils are added only at safe temperatures

  • Oxygen exposure is minimised to protect potency

  • Cooling is slow and controlled for stability and texture

The result is a balm that stays fresh, stable and effective - natural skincare made with genuine care and chemistry.

Each balm is hand-poured in small batches to honour the purity of every ingredient. Botanik by Jorji is years of chemistry and knowledge, crafted from plants and transformed into ritual.

- Jorji, Founder & Chemist

Where Chemistry Meets Craft

Each balm begins as a small batch - measured, melted and poured by hand. Every step is intentional, from temperature control that preserves botanical nutrients to the slow, even cooling that creates a smooth, consistent finish.

Once set, each pot is labelled and hand-marked with its batch number - a quiet marker of authenticity and attention to detail.

No factory lines.
No rush.
Just thoughtful formulation guided by experience, chemistry and care.
